Rocket Bass combos look every bit as classy as their distinguished heritage demands—and the top-mounted controls are not only easily accessible, they help to maintain the aesthetic harmony of the ’60s-style look. Rocket Bass combos are as lightweight and easily portable as they are powerful and ruggedly constructed, placing them firmly in the modern era.
Rocket Bass tone begins with the classic Ampeg preamp section. All models include a powerful 3-band EQ, and the RB-112, RB-115, and RB-210 models combine it with signature Ampeg Ultra Hi/Ultra Lo switches. Super Grit Technology (SGT) overdrive circuitry provides more of the warm and gutsy growl that defines Ampeg tone, while Grit and Level controls on the larger amps enable you to dial in just the right amount.
An 1/8" Aux input enables you to connect and play along with an external audio source, while a Phones output ensures you’ll be able to practice whenever and wherever you like without disturbing others. All Rocket Bass combos other than the RB-108 provide an XLR direct output that enables you to make professional connections to a P.A. or recorder.
