The 1-week program will focus on playing as a band and song writing. The groups will write, rehearse and perform their own songs and then record their songs in the studio! This unique summer session will give each student the opportunity to write, record and produce their own original music in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

The music programs are designed by experienced musicians and instructors to give young musicians a comprehensive education on the in’s and out’s of the music industry in a fun and relaxed atmosphere, the camp will be held in private recording and rehearsal studios in Fairport. There, students will work on rehearsing and recording, completing a CD by week’s end.

But the experience doesn’t end there, we have drawn on some of our friends in the music industry to put on specialized workshops for the students on topics like music publishing, marketing, promotion and recording. Student’s will also be taught about-and have access to-the ‘fab gear,’ ranging from instruments, amplifiers, effects, etc., that were used to make classic rock ‘n roll recordings.
